I am a doctoral student advised by Dr. David Ribes at the department of Human Centered Design and Engineering , University of Washington (Seattle).
I study the intersections of power, scientific knowledge, technological systems, and organizations.
I also build multimedia projects .
Since joining the doctoral program at HCDE in 2021, I have worked on several projects such as:
I cherish the teaching-learning environment greatly. I have been the Graduate Teaching Assistant for two graduate level courses:
HCDE 519: Qualitative Research Methods with Caitie Lustig and HCDE 508: Visual Communication Design with Chad Hall.
Most recently, I investigated smartphone computational photography, race and visuality through a critical technology discourse analysis (CTDA) lens which led to my first conference paper .
Previously, I worked as Project Manager (Production) at the Center for Education Innovation and Action Research in Mumbai, India on their CLIx project . I also worked as an ethnographer with the For Digital Dignity project. I have been actively engaged in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level since 2019.
